Truss Lighting Kit

When clear viewing space is a concern, and you need more BANG for your buck, take a look at the flexibility and power of a Hiretech Systems Limited 24 kW Truss Kit.

The lighting portion of the kit includes: 24 Par 64 cans in your choice of: 4 bars of 6 Par 64 cans each; 6 bars of 4 Par 64 cans each; or 24 single Par 64 cans. The Par 64 cans come standard with a C-clamp or Floor Float, safety chain, gel frame, and assorted gel as per your request.

The trussing portion of the kit includes: four L-11 lift stands; 3 pieces of 12" x 18" trussing; and adapting spigots. The three pieces of truss are assembled onstage and placed with two of the L-11 stands at opposite ends. Two bars of six Par 64 cans each, or 12 single Par 64 cans, are then hung off of the truss to provide you with backlight and a lot of cool saturated colours. The remaining two L-11 stands are placed in front of the stage and split centre to cover the entire stage with a front wash. The adapter spigots are placed in the stands so that a bar of 6 can be placed on top of each stand. Dependent upon how wide your stage needs to be, we can provide you with a two or three colour front wash.

The dimming and control portion of the kit includes: 12 channel MX control console or 24 channel Jands control console; one CD80 12 x 2.4 kW dimmer or one CD80 24 x 1.2 kW dimmer; socapex cable; and XLR5 cable. The MX and Jands control consoles are easy to use in a 2-scene preset mode, or can be easily programmed to record and execute cues as you like. The MX and Jands control consoles are DMX-512 compatible, which means that automated lights can be introduced into this package with ease. Enough socapex cable will be provided to connect all of the Par 64 cans to the dimmers. The amount of socapex cable and XLR5 control cable required will be determined upon discussions with you about stage location and size, power location, and desired booth running location.

We can instruct you on how to put it together before you leave our shop, or you can provide one able-bodied volunteer to assist our technician at an additional cost. You will need two 100 Amp single phase power hookups.
